If your medium-tech planted aquarium contains any number of root feeders (Sword plants, Crypts, etc), an enriched substrate is essential for vibrant growth. By adding pfertz root ferts to your dosing routine, you provide essential micronutrients, root hormones and iron to the place it is needed most – the roots. Your plants always need a bit of phosphorus to grow properly, but if you’re feeding your fish, there’s probably enough phosphorus in your tank that you don’t need to add more. If your tank only consists of plants, consider adding pfertz phosphorus [p] to round out your dosing.

DIRECTIONS: Insert pfertz root ferts into substrate (at least 2-inches deep), placed every 6-7 inches. Dose nitrogen [n] and micros [m] 2-4 times per week @ 1 pump per 10 gallons.
